When people are looking for options for their smile makeover there are always questions you should ask to your dentists about the procedure you want to get done. Here we made a list of the most common (and important!) questions about the All on 4 procedure.
How do I know if I am candidate for All on 4?
An evaluation is needed with the doctor using X-rays, CT scan and a clinical examination to determinate if All on 4 will be the optimal procedure for your case. Different factors are considered like quality and quantity of bone, time without no teeth, remaining teeth and any diseases of the patient.
How long it takes to get All on 4 done?
You can get All on 4 in a single trip to Cancun on only 8 working days. On you first day you will get any remaining teeth extracted and then our dentists will set 4 implants on your jaw. After this you will come the following days to make an impression for your new teeth, as well choose their size, color and form. This will take about an hour so you can go back to relax on your hotel. Once your new teeth are tested and the dentist made sure it fits perfectly, it will be screwed and you won’t have to take them off.
What are new teeth made of?
The foundation is a structure made of titanium, and the teeth themselves could be made of porcelain and Acrylic D. Diamont. Both have the same characteristics and strength necessary to support the pressure of chewing and biting.
How do I clean my All on 4?
It is very important to brush your new teeth everyday as if they were real. You are also highly suggested to obtain a waterpik to make sure you clean any and all food leftovers on places the brush and the floss can’t reach. Hygiene is very important to make sure there are no infections and the bone doesn’t reject the dental implants.
How much experience do you have placing dental implants?
We have been placing implants for over a decade and we have thousands of happy patients with regular dental implants. Our clinic even hosts the Live Implant Training Maxicourse by the American Association of Implant Dentistry twice a year. Our facilities are top notch with state of the art equipment and knowledgeable and kind staff. You will be in good hands!
