We would like to thank our dear patient Svetlana (Lana for short) for her preference. She had come to Cancun all the way from Toronto to get dental implants and crowns. These dental treatments would have been 2 or 3 times more expensive than here with us.
The statistics say that about 178 million people only in the USA are missing at least 1 tooth. Yes, that’s right. The numbers are mind blowing. That’s about half of the country’s population! The great majority have given up and think there is no other option than to wait for the rest of the teeth to fall and then perhaps get a new denture. This will cause problems in the long run as the area where the tooth was will start to be affected by bone resorption and eventually “erode” making it harder to create a fitting denture.
