For today’s post we have a returning patient to share! You might remember our dear patient Hank, who came last year to her his titanium dental implant at low cost compared with other dentists in Canada. He could not chew properly so he looked for options to restore function to his missing teeth.
The problem was… his usual dentist retired and all the other dentists were too expensive. After a few months have passed from when the implant was set on the bone, the doctor will check the strength and then place the abutment and crown. The waiting period for regular implants is very important to ensure the bone has successfully bound itself to the porous surface of the implant like if it was real bone.
